With expanded yet limited state resources and evolving federal funding expectations, local governments must be ready to lead coordinated recovery efforts, mobilize local partnerships, and manage available resources effectively.
Workshop participants will learn how to to--
-- Produce defensible damage assessments to leverage state infrastructure and
individual assistance programs.
-- Document Public Assistance activities and costs correctly to safeguard eligible funding.
-- Make compliant substantial damage and floodplain determinations under National Flood Insurance Program requirements.
-- Use Crisis Track (Preliminary Damage Assessments, Individual Assistance, Substantial Damage modules) to manage and track recovery actions.
-- Coordinate and lead Multi-Agency Response Centers, Community Organizations Active In Disasters, and private sector engagement to strengthen local recovery operations.
