DEP Invites Comments On Proposed Purchase, Cleanup Agreement For The Waynesboro TCE Hazardous Site In Franklin County; Comments Due May 14

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the March 14 PA Bulletin inviting comments on a proposed purchase agreement for the Waynesboro TCE Hazardous Sites Cleanup Act site in Washington Township, Franklin County.  (PA Bulletin, page 1499)

DEP has entered into a proposed consent order with 225 E 9th LLC (seller) and its affiliate, Trident Enterprises International, Inc.

As part of the agreement the purchaser agrees to conduct a cleanup of the site under the Act 2 Land Recycling Program.
