DEP Posted 86 Pages Of Permit-Related Notices In March 28 PA Bulletin

-- PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices, Opportunities To Comment - March 28 [PaEN]


-- DEP published notice in the March 28 PA Bulletin announcing it has rescinded the Civil Penalty Assessments In The Oil and Gas Management Program Technical Guidance (DEP ID: 550-4180-001) and replaced it with two new Standard Operating Procedures Documents-- one for conventional and one for unconventional shale gas operations. DEP said the new civil penalty SOPs will be publicly available on the Department's website.


-- DEP published notice in the March 28 PA Bulletin issuing a Request for Information on proposed electric generation or energy storage projects eligible for state sponsorship and connection to PJM as an Expedited Interconnection Track Project.  Responses are due by June 5.  Read more here.

-- DEP published notice in the March 28 PA Bulletin announcing it is now accepting applications for reimbursement for local Host Municipal Inspectors for municipal and hazardous waste facilities for calendar year 2025.  Deadline June 5.

-- DEP posted notice on BidExpress.com soliciting bids on a contact to plug 5 abandoned conventional oil and gas wells in Sandycreek Twp., Venango County.

-- Rauch Creek Generation, LLC - Coal Waste-fired Power Plant: DEP invites comments on an Air Quality Plan Approval covering installation of air pollution controls to meet RACT III emission limits at the facility located in Frailey Twp., Schuylkill County. (PA Bulletin, page 1727)

-- PECO Energy Company - Peach Bottom Nuclear Power Plant North Substation, Transmission Lines, Brandon Shores Power Plant Retirement Mitigation: DEP issued a Chapter 105 permit covering project areas in Peach Bottom Twp., York County. (PA Bulletin, page 1772)
