DEP Invites Comments On A Chapter 105 Permit For The Limerick 67 MW PECO Energy Transmission Line Crossing The Schuylkill River In Chester, Montgomery Counties

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the March 21 PA Bulletin inviting comments on a Chapter 105 Encroachment permit for the Limerick 67 MW PECO Energy Transmission Line crossing the Schuylkill River in East Coventry, Chester County and Lower Pottsgrove and Limerick Townships, Montgomery County. The Project involves the installation of a new approximately one-mile-long greenfield electrical overhead distribution line right-of-way from the existing Lock Substation located on Sanatoga Road in East Coventry Township, Chester County, PA crossing over the Schuylkill River into Lower Pottsgrove Township.

No hearing has been scheduled on this application, but one may be requested.

Comments must be submitted to DEP by April 20-- 30 days after this notice.

Comments should be sent to DEP Southeast Region, Waterways & Wetlands Program, 2 East Main Street, Norristown, PA  19401 or by email to: RA-EP-WW-SERO-105@pa.gov.
