DEP Receives Act 2 Land Recycling Notice On Former Cheswick Power Plant To Be Converted To Springdale A.I. Data Center In Allegheny County

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the March 14 PA Bulletin it has received a Notice of Intent from Allegheny DC PropCo to remediate the former Cheswick Power Plant site in Springdale Borough, Allegheny County for the planned future use as the
Springdale  A.I. Data Center.  (PA Bulletin, page 1465)

Site investigations have identified soil and groundwater contamination on the approximately 56-acre site.
