PA Senate Republicans Pass Bill To Protect The Right Of Pennsylvanians To Drive Diesel And Gasoline Powered Vehicles; Average PA Price Of Gasoline Rose 69 Cents To $3.80/Gallon Since Feb. 27

On March 16, Senate Republicans passed
Senate Bill 990 (Bartolotta--R-Washington) preserving the right of Pennsylvanians to drive diesel and gasoline powered vehicles and "protecting" them from requirements that would reduce their cost of driving vehicles by using other fuels.

“With the Senate’s approval of this bill, we are reaffirming that Pennsylvanians deserve more choices, not fewer,” said Sen. Bartolotta. “Government mandates too often pick winners and losers, drive up costs for families and stifle innovation. This legislation protects consumer freedom and ensures emerging technologies can compete and evolve on their own merits.”

On March 18, the AAA average price for gasoline in Pennsylvania rose to $3.80-- a 69 cent per gallon increase since February 27 and the start of the President's war on Iran.
