PA Assn. Of Environmental Educators: Professional Development Workshops - Teaching Environmental Issues; Climate Change & Agriculture; Collaborative Approach To Water Stewardship

The
PA Association of Environmental Educators highlights upcoming professional development workshop opportunities featuring--

-- March 22 - May 16: Managing Controversy - Strategies for Teaching Environmental Issues & Topics: The course models a variety of effective strategies educators can use to assist learners in exploring and seeking responsible courses of action toward the resolution of environmental issues. 

-- March 22: Connecting Climate Change and Agriculture: Increasing Knowledge of Local Foods and Regenerative Agriculture: Buy Fresh Buy Local of the Greater Lehigh Valley and Nurture Nature Center used a multidisciplinary approach to engage audiences in climate change education, including hands-on demonstrations of the impact of different soil and water management practices for agriculture.

-- June 18: Aquatic Academy: A Collaborative Approach to Water Stewardship: Pittsburgh, water reliably reaches our tap every day. It is so ubiquitous and fundamental to our lives that it is hard to imagine life without easy access to clean and safe water in our home.
