DEP Chesapeake Bay News Highlights Conservation District Accomplishments, Funding Opportunities, Year End Progress Reports

The
latest DEP Chesapeake Bay Program News spotlights the  PA Association of Conservation Districts recently published Highlights of Conservation District Activities 2025, which highlights projects that the Commonwealth’s 66 conservation districts implemented in 2025 to reduce pollution.

The highlights of each district include farm conservation projects, dirt and gravel road initiatives, educational programs on reducing erosion and sedimentation and help with permitting, West Nile Virus control measures, installing riparian stream buffers, stream crossing replacements and student and adult environmental education programs.
