Newsletter subscriber Linda Downey sent in this firefly story--

"A number of years back, I found a firefly in my house. It was blinking as a firefly does, but get this-- it was blinking at the house alarm keypad!

“There was a small green light on the keypad that matched the firefly's light color.

“I carefully caught the firefly and placed it outside.

“I was sorry to interrupt its communication with the keypad but it needed real firefly "friends."

“It was a one-time event that was a surprise from nature"
