Community Advocates For Clean Energy Of Greater Philadelphia To Host June 17 Webinar On How To Move A Community Energy Project From An Idea To Action

Chris Nate from DEP will provide an overview of DEP's Community Energy Development Program that helps local governments develop energy transition plans, pursue community energy aggregation, and build locally based renewable generation and the potential for future offerings of the program.

Then the team at ProtoGen, the technical consultant supporting the CED program, will demonstrate GridNav, an easy-to-use energy modeling platform for exploring, scoping, and financially modeling community energy projects.

Everyone who attends will receive free access to GridNav through December 31, 2026.

The goal of the webinar is to equip volunteers with the tools to help their communities identify and organize energy projects.

Projects scoped now can be well-positioned for advancement through the Community Energy Development Program or other state and federal opportunities as they become available.
