DEP Citizens Advisory Council Meets June 23 To Hear Presentation On Carbon Capture; Discuss Comments On DEP Act 54 Report On Damage Caused By Underground Coal Mining; Air Quality Regulations

The DEP Citizens Advisory Council meets June 23 to hear a presentation on carbon capture by the Kleinman Center for Energy Policy, discuss comments on DEP’s Act 54 report on damage caused by underground coal mining and several air quality regulations.

The agenda includes--

-- Proposed Chapter 121 & 127 Changes related to General Air Quality Provisions and Permit Notification requirements. DEP presentation.

-- Rescinding the PA Heavy-Duty Diesel Program.  DEP presentation.

-- Dr. Hélène Pilorgé, Clean Energy Conversions Laboratory, Kleinman Center for Energy Policy, University of Pennsylvania, will give the presentation on carbon capture, utilization and sequestration.

-- Discussion of comments on DEP Act 54 Report on Damage Caused By Underground Coal Mining - CAC invitation for public comments & Key Findings From DEP’s Report
