DEP said the project will include five data center buildings, internal roadways and parking areas, stormwater basins, an electrical substation, associated utilities, landscaping, a security outbuilding, fencing, and controlled access gates.
As proposed, the project will permanently impact 0.85 acres of wetlands.
No temporary wetland impacts are proposed; no impacts to streams, floodways, or floodplains are proposed as part of this application.
The applicant is proposing the purchase of wetland credits to satisfy compensatory mitigation requirements.
DEP is accepting comments until July 27-- 30 days after this notice.
No hearing has been scheduled but one may be requested.
