DEP Sets Nov. 4 Hearing [If Requested] On Reissuance Of Title V Air Quality Permit For The NLMK Pennsylvania, LLC Farrel Steel Plant In Mercer County

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the September 26 PA Bulletin inviting comments and scheduled a November 4 hearing [if requested] on the reissuance of a Title V Air Quality Permit for the NLMK Pennsylvania, LLC Farrell Steel Plant in the City of Farrell, Mercer County.  (PA Bulletin, page 6400)

The hearing [if requested] will be held November 4 at the DEP Regional Office, 230 Chestnut Street in Meadville starting at 10:00 a.m.

Comments are due October 26-- 30 days from this notice.

Comments should be sent to Lori McNabb, Environmental Program Manager, DEP Northwest Regional Office, 230 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.

If a hearing is held, persons not able to attend the hearing may submit written statements to Lori McNabb within 10 days after the November 4 hearing.

All pertinent documents related to the application are available for public review between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the DEP Northwest Regional Office, 230 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
