Nicole Faraguna, DCNR Policy Office and Nicole Auker, PennDOT Environmental Planning Manager, will provide an update on the Workgroup launched on July 1 to develop a comprehensive strategy to reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions, improve public safety, reconnect fragmented wildlife habitat, and guide future transportation and conservation investments across the Commonwealth. Dr. Ron Sutherland, Chief Scientist of the Wildlands Network, will provide a presentation on Wildlife Connectivity 101 - A National Perspective for Pennsylvania.

Oct. 1 E-Bike Policy Webinar
DCNR’s Conservation and Natural Resources Advisory Council is hosting a webinar October 1 on E-Bike Policy and Management from Noon to 1:00 p.m.
This webinar will provide an overview on the types of e-bikes and similar vehicles being used for outdoor recreation on rail-trails and natural surface trails.
Speakers will share national, state, and regional perspectives on e-bike policies and challenges around e-bike management.
This webinar will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about this rapidly evolving recreational activity.
