DEP Issues Chapter 102 Permit For Northeast Natural Gas Supply Enhancement Project Quarryville Loop, Compressor Station 200 In Chester, Lancaster Counties

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the August 15 PA Bulletin announcing  it has issued a Chapter 102 permit for the 
Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company, LLC Northeast Natural Gas Supply Enhancement Project Quarryville Loop and Compressor Station 200 in Chester and Lancaster counties.  (PA Bulletin, page 5491)

The permit adds a contractor wareyard to the Quarryville Loop at Milepost 1686.1 for staging piping and equipment in East Drumore Township. 

At Compressor Station 200 a revised design will include the installation of an electrical power substation and a shift in the proposed underground power ducts banks, all within the existing station footprint.

Any person aggrieved by this action may challenge it in an appropriate legal forum, including filing an appeal with the Environmental Hearing Board within 30 days of this notice.
