The 7.75 mile project route covering 72.5 acres is located in Scranton City, Taylor Borough, Ransom Township, Lackawanna County and Duryea Borough and Exeter Township, Luzerne County.
The proposed project consists of the rebuild of the overhead transmission line generally heading northeast from Stanton Substation Luzerne County as well as installation of 0.75 mile of fiber on an existing transmission line.
The primary need for the project is to update transmission line infrastructure originally installed in 1926, according to PPL.
No hearing has been scheduled on this application, but one may be requested.
Comments are due September 14-- 30 days from this notice.
