The following notices were published in the August 15 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities. Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

-- DEP published notice in the August 15 PA Bulletin inviting comments on the proposed use of emission reduction credits by Invitium Energy LLC [PPL-Blackstone Joint Venture] for the proposed Shermans Dale Energy Center natural gas power plant to supply data centers in Carroll Township, Perry County. -- DEP published notice in the August 15 PA Bulletin inviting comments on an Air Quality Plan Approval authorizing the expansion of the Amazon Data Center in Salem Township, Luzerne County. The Plan Approval would authorize the installation of 84 diesel backup generators, 2 auxiliary emergency generators, diesel belly storage tanks and three 12,000 gallon aboveground storage tanks for fuel. -- DEP published notice in the August 15 PA Bulletin inviting comments on a Chapter 105 permit by Expand Operating LLC for the construction of a shale gas water withdrawal structure into the Susquehanna River and related double, 16-inch aboveground water pipelines in Standing Stone Township, Bradford County. -- DEP published notice in the August 15 PA Bulletin announcing it has issued a Chapter 102 permit for the Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company, LLC Northeast Natural Gas Supply Enhancement Project Quarryville Loop and Compressor Station 200 in Chester and Lancaster counties. -- DEP published notice in the August 15 PA Bulletin announcing it has issued a Chapter 102 permit for the Eastern Gas Transmission & Storage, Inc. 13.1 mile long LN-19 Pipeline Project to replace an existing 20-inch natural gas pipeline in Armstrong and Westmoreland counties. -- DEP published notice in the August 15 PA Bulletin extending the Air Quality Plan Approval to Jan. 28, 2027 for 15 natural gas backup generators at the Iron City No. 1 Power Generator and Data Center Facility to allow for compliance demonstration in Karthause Twp., Clearfield County, (PA Bulletin, page 5483)

-- Expand Operating LLC - Hickory Row Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Wyalusing Twp., Bradford County. (PA Bulletin, page 5478)

-- Repsol Oil & Gas USA, LLC - Ingalls Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil and groundwater contaminated with production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Liberty Twp., Bradford County. (PA Bulletin, page 5479)

-- Repsol Oil & Gas USA, LLC - Vanblarcom Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Columbia Twp., Bradford County. (PA Bulletin, page 5480)

-- Elk County - Pin Oak Energy Partners LLC - Improperly Abandoned Gas Pipeline [297 Days] August 7, 2026 follow-up inspection of an abandoned conventional gas gathering line crossing Pine Run stream in Ridgway Township found the pipeline needs to be capped to prevent the stream from entering and discarded pipeline needs to be removed. Original violations Oct. 14, 2025. Violations continued. DEP inspection report.

-- Tioga County - Seneca Resources Co LLC - Shale Gas Casing/Cement Failure [621 Days] July 27, 2026 inspection of the Taft 75HU Utica shale gas well in Middlebury Township for casing/cementing failure found gas still present.
