Sierra Club Pennsylvania Hosts Aug. 20 Webinar On Energy Storage In PA

The Sierra Club of Pennsylvania is holding an August 20 webinar that will provide an introduction to battery energy storage systems (BESS) and how they can (and are) being utilized to capture energy when it is abundant and release it when it is needed. 

Battery energy storage provides flexibility for supporting renewable integration, grid stability and cost savings. 

The webinar will feature Tristyne Youngbluth, Energy Program Specialist at the Department of Environmental Protection’s Energy Programs Office.
