-- PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices, Opportunities To Comment - August 15 [PaEN]


-- DEP published notice in the August 15 PA Bulletin inviting comments on the proposed use of emission reduction credits by Invitium Energy LLC [PPL-Blackstone Joint Venture] for the proposed Shermans Dale Energy Center natural gas power plant to supply data centers in Carroll Township, Perry County. -- DEP published notice in the August 15 PA Bulletin inviting comments on an Air Quality Plan Approval authorizing the expansion of the Amazon Data Center in Salem Township, Luzerne County. The Plan Approval would authorize the installation of 84 diesel backup generators, 2 auxiliary emergency generators, diesel belly storage tanks and three 12,000 gallon aboveground storage tanks for fuel.  (PA Bulletin, page 5457)   Read more here.

-- The Environmental Quality Board published notice in the August 15 PA Bulletin announcing the Final Land Recycling Program Chromium VI regulations.


-- The Public Utility Commission published notices in the August 15 PA Bulletin announcing an October 29 prehearing on the siting and construction of the Transource Pennsylvania, LLC 230 kV Project 9A West - Rice - Ringgold Transmission Line Project in Franklin County.  (Notice 1. -- DEP published notice in the August 15 PA Bulletin inviting comments on an Individual Stormwater Permit for the PPL Electric Stanton Summit 1 & 2 69kV Transmission Line Rebuild Project. Act 2 Land Recycling Cleanup

-- Liberty Fire Protection Services LLC - PFAS ‘Forever Chemical’ Cleanup: DEP received a Remediation Investigation Report/Cleanup Plan on remediation of soil and groundwater contaminated with PFAS chemicals to meet the Site-Specific Standard at a site located in Greenfield Twp., Blair County.  (PA Bulletin, page 5479)

-- New Freedom Land Partners, LLC - 7.69 Acre Solar Energy Facility: DEP invites comments on Individual Stormwater Permit for the facility located in New Freedom Boro, York County.  (PA Bulletin, page 5448)

-- Hazleton Creek Properties, LLC - Hazelton Creek Commerce Center: DEP invites comments on the renewal of an Individual Stormwater Permit covering this 369.95 acre commercial project in the City of Hazleton, Luzerne County. (PA Bulletin, page 5450)

-- Penn Pocahontas Coal Refuse Site: DEP renewed mining permit for the facility located in Brothersvalley Twp., Somerset County. (PA Bulletin, page 5485)

-- Tunnel Ridge, LLC - Revision To Subsidence Control Plan: DEP issued a revision to the Subsidence Control plan for longwall coal mining involving 1,914.35 acres in Donegal, West Finley and East Finley Townships, Washington County. (PA Bulletin, page 5486)
