The company’s first major offering is “From the Rivers to the Bay,” an educational program series exploring the Chesapeake Bay watershed from headwaters to estuary.
Drawing on more than 40 years of experience in watershed engineering, environmental justice, and public education, Parenzan created The Water Healer™ to bring accessible, science‑grounded, and story‑rich water programming to communities, travelers, and organizations across the country.
“Water is more than a resource — it’s a relationship,” said Parenzan. “This new chapter allows me to share the wonder, complexity, and healing power of our waterways with audiences of all ages.”
A New Chesapeake Bay Watershed Experience “From the Rivers to the Bay” is a curated series of presentations, workshops, and interpretive experiences that follow the journeys of the waterways that feed the Chesapeake Bay.
The program blends watershed science, cultural history, wildlife interpretation, and personal storytelling to illuminate one of America’s most significant and endangered water systems.
Designed for community groups, educational institutions, travel programs, and conservation organizations, the series offers flexible formats — from single‑session talks to multi‑day immersive experiences.
The Water Healer™ provides water‑centered education, storytelling, and nature‑based mindfulness programs for audiences nationwide.
Through speaking engagements, workshops, travel‑based learning, and creative experiences, the company helps people understand, protect, and emotionally reconnect with the waters that sustain life.
Parenzan is the former Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper, author of 36 books, and a certified Mindfulness Outdoor Guide and Blue Water Therapist.
She has been recognized as Woman of the Susquehanna Watershed, served on the Pennsylvania Environmental Justice Advisory Board, and founded and served as the first Executive Director of Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association, a nonprofit organization that received the Pennsylvania Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence.
