The Foundation for Pennsylvania Watersheds (FPW) is partnering with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) and the Chesapeake Bay Trust (CBT) to provide resources and technical assistance for navigating fiscal and administrative compliance requirements under Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200).
As an initial step, NFWF developed a series of short, on-demand training videos covering key topics, such as Procurement, Determining Indirect Costs, and Understanding Federal Audit Requirements.
To access these recordings, please complete the brief survey linked below.
Early next month, we’ll offer live, virtual training sessions that will go deeper into specific compliance areas based on grantee interest and needs.
A set of Draft Policies and Procedures Templates will be available, designed to strengthen your organization’s internal controls and compliance systems.
They can be custom tailored for your organization and will ensure you’re compliant with all grant types -- whether you’re receiving state, federal, or private foundation funds.
Should your organization need additional assistance, the FPW will offer one-on-one professional mentorship to help update, adopt, and operationalize your compliance materials.
These resources will help you build organizational capacity, reduce administrative risk, and better position you to leverage funding opportunities.
If interested, here are the next steps:
Complete the short NFWF survey to receive access to the training videos and resources:
-- Watch the on-demand training modules once access is granted.
-- Review and begin customizing the Policies & Procedures Templates for your organization.
-- Identify any areas where your organization would benefit from additional support.
-- Participate in upcoming live virtual trainings as they are announced.
Once you have completed 1-5, and should you need additional help, please reach out to FPW staff.
We can line up professional mentorship to help finalize and implement your compliance practices.
I encourage you and another member of your organization to participate in this training together.
Adopting and implementing new protocols and policies isn’t easy, and we’re glad to provide a support system to help you navigate it!
Please reach out if you have additional questions by calling 814-669-4244.
