DEP: A.I. Data Center Developer Edged Energy Submits Notice Of Intent To Remediate Site In South Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the April 11 PA Bulletin announcing it has received an Act 2 Land Recycling Program Notice of Intent from Edged Energy, an A.I. Data Center developer, to remediate a property in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County.  (

The notice involves remediation of soil contaminated by a release of lead, arsenic, and volatile organic compounds.

Public and municipal comments are due to DEP 30 days after the Notice of Intent was published in a newspaper, in this case the Morning Call on March 18-- April 17.
