DEP Sets State Water Plan Update Meetings For Regional, Statewide Water Resources Committees Starting May 19

The Department of Environmental Protection published
notice in the April 25 PA Bulletin announcing a schedule of regional and statewide Water Resources Committee meetings to support the development of the next update to the State Water Plan.

The last update to the State Water Plan was announced in  2023.

The meetings will be held--

-- May 19-- DEP Statewide Water Resources Committee meeting. Room 105 Rachel Carson Building. 9:00 a.m. 

-- October 6-- DEP State Water Plan Delaware Regional Water Resources Committee meeting. DEP Southeast Regional Office, Norristown. 10:00 a.m.

-- October 8-- DEP State Water Plan Potomac Regional Water Resources Committee meeting. Adams County Conservation District, Gettysburg. 1:00 p.m.

-- October 15-- DEP State Water Plan Lower Susquehanna Regional Water Resources Committee meeting. DEP Southcentral Regional Office, Harrisburg. 9:00 a.m.

-- October 20-- DEP State Water Plan Ohio Regional Water Resources Committee meeting.Westmoreland County Conservation District, Greensburg. 1:00 p.m.

-- October 21-- DEP State Water Plan Great Lakes Regional Water Resources Committee  meeting. Tom Ridge Environmental Center, Erie.  9:00 a.m.

-- October 22-- DEP State Water Plan Upper/Middle Susquehanna Regional Water Resources Committee meeting. DEP Northcentral Regional Office, Williamsport. 9:00 a.m.

-- October 27-- DEP State Water Plan Statewide Water Resources Committee meeting.  Room 105 Rachel Carson Building. 9:00 a.m.

In addition to the in-person and telephone participation options, remote participation options will also be available by means of Microsoft Teams.
