The power plant was renamed the Christopher M. Crane Clean Energy Center and will be dedicated to providing electricity to Microsoft A.I. data centers.
The wastewater permit covers multiple outfalls from the facility based on a total design flow of 43 million gallons a day.
DEP will accept comments on this application until May 18-- 30 days from this notice.
No hearing has been scheduled, but one can be requested.
