DEP Issues Water Quality Permits For The Appalachia To Market 3 Pipeline Project In Adams, York, Bedford Counties; 3 Other Natural Gas Pipeline Projects In Greene And Washington Counties

The Department of Environmental Protection published notices in the January 10 PA Bulletin announcing it has issued water quality permits and approvals to the following natural gas pipeline projects--

Texas Eastern Transmission - Adams, Bedford, York Counties

DEP issued Section 401 Water Quality Certification, Chapter 105 and Chapter 102 permits for the Appalachia to Market 3 Pipeline Project in Reading Township, Adams County, Washington Township, York County, and Bedford Township, Bedford County. 

Permits issued include--

-- Section 401 Certification for the project  (PA Bulletin, page 281)

-- Chapter 102 & 105 Permits in Adams and York counties  (PA Bulletin, page 282)

-- Chapter 102 Permit in Adams and York counties (PA Bulletin, page 283)

Columbia Gas Transmission - Greene County

DEP issued a Chapter 102 permit for the Natural Gas Line 36 Slip Repair in Washington Twp., Greene County.  (PA Bulletin, page 279)

Columbia Gas Transmission - Greene County

DEP issued a Chapter 102 permit for the Line 143 Natural Gas Pipeline Abandonment and Construction project in an unknown municipality in Greene County. (PA Bulletin, page 279)

Columbia Gas Transmission - Washington County

DEP issued Chapter 105 and Chapter 102 permits for the Gibraltar Longwall Mining Mitigation Tunnel Ridge Panel 28 Project to daylight 26-inch and 36-inch natural gas pipelines to avoid damage in West Finley Twp., Washington County. (PA Bulletin, page 280)
