The meeting/hearing will be held at the Hazelton Area High School, 1601 West 23rd Street in Hazle Township.
The meeting to answer questions about the project will take place from 5:00 to 6:50 p.m.
The hearing to receive comments on the permit application will take place from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
DEP requests that individuals intending to ask a question at the meeting or to testify at the hearing submit a written notice of intent to Patricia Monahan, Community Relations Coordinator at: pamonahan@pa.gov.
The Department will accept requests up to the day of the meeting/hearing.
The permit applications’ documentation and conceptual plans are available for review at the Luzerne County Conservation District Office, 325 Smiths Pond Rd, Shavertown, PA 18708 at (570) 674-7991 and/or the DEP Northeast Regional Office, 2 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, PA (570) 826-2511.
