DEP Invites Comments On Individual Stormwater Permit For The 150 Mile Mid-Atlantic Interstate Transmission, LLC Piney-Seward, Erie South Piney Transmission Line Project Thru 8 Counties

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the January 24 PA Bulletin inviting comments on an Individual Stormwater Permit for the 150 Mile Mid-Atlantic Interstate Transmission, LLC Piney-Seward, Erie South Piney Transmission Line Project route through eight counties.  (

The permit covers 2,600.38 acres running through these counties--

-- Armstrong County - Redbank Township

-- Clairon County - Ashland, Elk, Beaver, Paint, Piney, Monroe, Limestone, Porter and Redbank Townships

-- Crawford County - Bloomfield, Athens, Steuben, Troy and Oil Creek Townships, City of Titusville

-- Erie County - Summit, Greene, Waterford, Le Boeuf and Union Townships

-- Indiana County - West Mahoning, North Mahoning, East Mahoning, Rayne, Green, Pine, Buffington and East Wheatfield Townships

-- Jefferson County - Timblin Borough, Porter and Ringgold Townships

-- Venango County - Cherrytree, Cornplanter, Cranberry and Pinegrove Townships

-- Westmoreland County - Saint Clair Township

No hearing has been scheduled, but one may be requested.

Comments are due February 23-- 30 days after this notice.
