Litter Lifters of West Vincent have successfully inspired individuals, families, and local organizations countywide to take an active role in environmental stewardship, fostering a strong sense of shared responsibility and community pride.

“I presented the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Community Pride Award to Beth Intoccia of the Litter Lifters of West Vincent at a recent West Vincent Township Board of Supervisors meeting,” said Senator Muth.

“Since 2020, Beth’s leadership has helped grow the Litter Lifters into a volunteer force of more than 100 community members, removing countless bags of litter from roads, parks, streams, and open spaces across Chester County.

“Congratulations, Beth, on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you to all of the Litter Lifters volunteers who work tirelessly to keep our communities clean, beautiful, and welcoming for everyone,” Sen. Muth said.

“I believe every municipality in Pennsylvania should have a litter management group. We have learned that when residents, businesses and government work together, roads and waterways get cleaned up. This strategy builds a community everyone is proud to call home. I am grateful to the hundreds of volunteers, our committee members, state and local police departments, and businesses who support the work we do,” said Intoccia
