Central Pennsylvania Conservancy To Hold Special Fundraising Event Aug. 29 At The Cameron-Masland Mansion At Kings Gap State Park In Cumberland County

Join
Central Pennsylvania Conservancy on August 29 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. for an enchanting evening on the front lawn of the Cameron-Masland Mansion at Kings Gap State Park

Created as a signature fundraising event, FĂȘte en Blanc brings together conservation partners, business leaders, landowners, supporters, and friends for an elegant evening in a beautiful natural setting.

Inspired by the tradition of wearing white to celebrate the season, the event reflects the beauty of our region while raising critical support for the permanent protection of its forests, farms, streams, and open spaces.

Guests will receive a three course locally-sourced meal, courtesy of Kings Gap General Store.

Throughout the evening, guests will be able to explore the grounds of Kings Gap State Park while listening to music from Blue Manouche, a new acoustic trio comprising the Shine Delphi, Scott Matlock, and Chance Hurley.

A silent auction will also take place inside the mansion where guests can peruse the wide range of bidding items. Auction items will be available to view a week prior to the event online.

At the event, Central Pennsylvania Conservancy will be celebrating the recently completed land protection projects and recognizing the people who made it possible.

We will be presenting awards to commemorate the completion of the following projects--

-- 900+ acres on South Mountain, creating the Tuckahoe Conservation Area for public recreation and enjoyment

-- Negotiation of a land swap with the National Park Service to save the local Scott Farm Appalachian Trail trailhead from demolition while preserving 162 acres of ridgetop forest

-- Preservation of 350+ acres of forested mountain land on the globally important Kittatinny Ridge, while securing permanent public access to two half-mile segments of the Tuscarora Trail in Cumberland and Franklin County

Cost of attendance is $100 per person. Registration deadline for this event is August 10th, 2026.

Limited rooms are available to rent at the mansion for those who would like to stay overnight.
