Governor’s Office Published Regulatory Agenda, DEP Published Non-Regulatory (Technical Guidance) Agenda To Provide Opportunities For Public Involvement

The Governor’s Office published an updated
agency-by-agency listing of regulations in development in the July 25 PA Bulletin.

The environmental highlight of the Governor’s Regulatory Agenda is an announcement DEP will be adopting regulations to limit methane emissions from conventional oil and gas and shale gas wells and infrastructure to comply with federal methane emission reduction requirements in 40 CFR Part 60 Subpart 0000c regulations.  Read more here.

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the July 25 PA Bulletin announcing the posting of an updated Non-Regulatory Agenda listing technical guidance documents in development.

The objective of these agendas is to provide the public with a heads-up these proposals are under development so they can have input into their development.
