-- PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices, Opportunities To Comment - May 23 [PaEN] 


-- DEP published notice in the May 23 PA Bulletin announcing a June 25 hearing inviting comments on an Air Quality Plan Approval for the ETC Northeast Pipeline LLC Cryo II Project at the Revolution Cryogenic Natural Gas Processing Plant In Smith Twp., Washington County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3056)  (PA Bulletin, page 3094)   Read more here.


-- DEP published notice in the May 23 PA Bulletin announcing the denial of the PA General Energy Co. LLC Chapter 105 permit for the 3.9 mile access road and staging area proposed in Loyalsock State Forest, Gamble and Cascade Townships, Lycoming County. (PA Bulletin, page 3086)  DEP also published notice denying the Chapter 102 Erosion and Sedimentation Permit for this same project. -- The Environmental Hearing Board published notice in the May 23 PA Bulletin announcing an appeal of a permit for stormwater discharges from a noncoal mining operation - Andrew Church v. DEP and Erie Aggregates, Inc. EHB Doc. No. 2026-038-BP


-- DCNR published notice in the May 23 PA Bulletin inviting comments on a proposed 4.19 acre property exchange with the Porters Lake Hunting and Fishing Club in Porter Township, Pike County.


-- The Department of Agriculture published notice in the May 23 PA Bulletin announcing a Quarantine Order for the Box Tree Moth.


-- The Game Commission published notice in the May 23 PA Bulletin updating Chronic Wasting Disease Restrictions


-- The Susquehanna River Basin Commission published notice in the May 23 PA Bulletin the Executive Director gave his approval to or renewed 33 general water use permits in April for individual shale gas well drilling pads in Bradford, Cameron, Lycoming, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga and Wyoming counties.  So far in 2026, SRBC issued 133 shale gas-related general permits.  Read more here.

-- DEP published notice in the May 23 PA Bulletin announcing an opportunity to bid on the Kimber Mountain NW Abandoned Mine Reclamation Project in Broad Top Township, Bedford County.

-- DEP published notice in the May 23 PA Bulletin announcing an opportunity to bid on the reclamation of Project 219 and 219 South abandoned mine sites in Bloom Township, Clearfield County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3059)


Bids - Municipal Waste

-- The Lawrence-Mercer Recycling/Solid Waste Department announced it is soliciting proposals for municipal waste disposal capacity as part of updating its municipal waste plan.  (PA Bulletin, page 3093)

-- Westmoreland Sanitary Landfill - Leachate Treatment Trial: DEP approved a de minimis increase in air pollution to allow for an onsite leachate treatment trial project at the landfill in Rostraver Twp., Westmoreland County. (PA Bulletin, page 3084)
