DEP Issues 12 Violations To Delta Inland Oil Res LLC For Abandoning, Not Plugging Conventional Oil & Gas Wells In Warren County; 223 Abandonment Violations Issued In 2026, So Far

On May 11 & 12, 2026, the Department of Environmental Protection issued 12 violations to Delta Inland Oil Res LLC for abandoning and not plugging 12 conventional oil and gas wells in Warren County, Sugar Grove Township.

The wells include-- Sanders 1; Sanders 3; Hobart Sanders 5; Hobart Sanders 8; Hobart Sanders 10; Hobart Sanders 11; James G. Wilmoth 3; James G. Wilmoth 7; James G. Wilmoth 8; James G. Wilmouth 11; James G. Wilmoth 12; Sidney & Ruth Deremer 1

A total of 31 Delta Inland wells were inspected over these two days.

No requests made of well owner, however, inspection reports are typically sent to well owners..

Delta Inland Oil Res LLC, based in Sugar Grove, Warren County, holds 363 permits.

223 Abandoned Conventional Well Violations In 2026

​​So far in 2026, DEP issued or continued 223 notices of violation for conventional oil and gas well abandonment.
