Through this collaboration, PRPS will expand opportunities for young athletes to participate in RCX’s professional league-affiliated programming.
RCX will provide training for coaches and staff, along with educational resources to help foster safe, inclusive, and engaging environments for all participants.
“At RCX Sports, our mission is to make sports accessible and inclusive for every child, no matter where they live or the resources available to them,” said Izell Reese, CEO and founder of RCX Sports. “By partnering with trusted local organizations like the Pennsylvania Recreation & Park Society, we can provide the programming, tools, and support needed to build sustainable youth sports ecosystems that give every young athlete the chance to thrive. These organizations now join a national network committed to removing barriers to play.”
“PRPS is excited to launch our official partnership with RCX Sports to expand access to quality youth sports programs across Pennsylvania. As our state grows into a hub for professional sports and sport tourism, we are eager to carry that momentum and energy to youth leagues statewide,” said Kealy Daye, Education Manager, PA Recreation & Park Society. “Community-based youth athletics can be life changing - boosting overall health, wellness, and confidence - and we look forward to the positive impact we can make through this partnership.”
Participation in youth sports is linked to better health, stronger academic performance, and enhanced social-emotional skills.
RCX’s community-driven approach ensures these benefits reach all young athletes-- regardless of zip code.
