DEP Restarts Comment Period On Corrected Major Amendment To Homer City Generation Data Center Project Industrial Wastewater Facility Permit In Indiana County

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the July 11 PA Bulletin restarting the comment period on a corrected major amendment application to an existing Homer City Generation LP Data Campus Project NPDES Wastewater Permit changing wastestreams going to discharge 027 in Center Township, Indiana County.  (

DEP said this draft provides revisions to the June 27th draft to correct errors detected in the previous documents.

The effluent limits and monitoring requirements for all other Internal Monitoring Points and Outfalls are unchanged.

The proposed amendment would modify the wastestreams that flow to Outfall 027 to include cooling tower blowdown and discharge to Two Lick Creek [Blacklick Creek was in the original].

DEP is accepting comments until August 10-- 30 days after this notice.

No hearing has been scheduled but one may be requested.
