Southwestern PA Commission To Host Regional Climate Pollution Reduction Plan Open Houses Starting Sept. 9

The
Southwestern PA Commission is working to develop a Regional Climate Pollution Reduction Plan covering all 10 counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania.  

As part of this initiative, the Commission is holding a series of open houses to engage residents, increase public awareness, and provide an opportunity to share information on regional climate planning efforts, available programs, and agency resources.

The meetings will be hosted in each of the ten counties and the City of Pittsburgh.

The open houses scheduled so far include--

-- September 9 - Indiana County: Kovalchik Convention Center, 711 Pratt Dr., Indiana. 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

-- September 13 - Butler County: Zelienople Farmer's Market, 215 N. Main St., Zelienople, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

-- September 18 - Fayette County: Washington Township Social Hall, 1314 Axton St., Belle Vernon, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

-- September 22 - Allegheny County: The Hub, 912 4th Ave., Coraopolis, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

-- September 23 - Butler County: Butler Area Public Library, 218 N. McKean St., Butler, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

-- September 24 - Washington County: Dees Event Center, 514 McKean Ave., Charleroi, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The Commission would be pleased to offer space for your organization to table and share materials with attendees.
