Keystone Trails Association: Explore The PA Wilds During The Keystone Hiking & Outdoor Weekend Oct. 17-19 In Clarion County

The
Keystone Trails Association invites outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and abilities to experience the breathtaking landscapes and rich conservation history of the Pennsylvania Wilds during the Keystone Hiking & Outdoor Weekend, October 17–19 in Clarion County.

This immersive three-day event offers something for everyone:

-- Guided hikes through ancient forests

-- Fall foliage viewing along the Clarion River

-- Elk bugling education

-- Artmaking inspired by nature

-- Outdoor skills workshops

-- Talks on Pennsylvania’s conservation history

“The Pennsylvania Wilds is an expansive landscape of forested hills with towering trees that date back hundreds of years and vast river systems that have shaped U.S. history,” said Kate Prisby, Manager of Events and Programs at KTA. “It's a space where conservation movements and extractive industry have intersected, shaping our nation's wilderness preservation legislation. This year's Keystone Hiking & Outdoor Weekend in the Pennsylvania Wilds explores the outdoor spaces of this region, as well as its historical significance.”
