DEP To Hold Nov. 6 Hearing On A Water Quality Permit For The East Stroudsburg Borough Wastewater Treatment Plant In Monroe County

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the September 20 PA Bulletin announcing a November 6 hearing on the NPDES Water Quality Permit for the East Stroudsburg Borough Wastewater Treatment Plant in Monroe County.  (PA Bulletin, page 6780)

The treatment plant discharges wastewater into Brodhead Creek.

The hearing will be held at the East Stroudsburg Municipal Building, 24 Analomick Street, East Stroudsburg starting at 5:00 p.m.

Persons wishing to present testimony at the hearing should contact DEP’s Community Relations Coordinator at pamonahan@pa.gov or 570.826.2035 before 4:00 p.m. on November 5, 2025.

Requests to review the permit application should be directed to DEP’s File Review Coordinator at 570-826-2511.
