DCNR State Parks Environmental Educator Newsletter Celebrates First Day Of Fall

The latest DCNR
State Parks Environmental Educator newsletter celebrates the Autumnal Equinox-- September 22 -- the official beginning of the fall season.

During the Autumnal Equinox the Sun is shining directly on the middle of the Earth (the equator), which means that everyone on Earth is getting about the same amount of daylight & nighttime. After the Equinox, days start to get shorter & nights get longer.
