The project will involve 39 crossings of tributaries to Tuscarora Creek, Little Meshoppen Creek, Nick Creek, floodways and wetlands.
This is the second major Expand water pipeline in Auburn Township. On September 12, DEP announced it had issued a Chapter 105 permit for a 4.98 mile, 16-inch aboveground shale gas water pipeline in the township. Read more here.

Anyone aggrieved by this decision has 30 days from the date of this notice to file an appeal with the Environmental Hearing Board.
