Kody Brittingham began serving on the EAC in October 2023. He advocated for the Township to join the Pennsylvania Audubon Council's Bird Town Pennsylvania initiative, resulting in the Township passing Resolution 2024-43.
Arielle Trost began serving as the newly-created Bird Town Committee before being appointed to the EAC, currently serving both as Secretary.
Brittingham and Trost have written multiple articles for the PA Environment Digest as part of the EAC's public education efforts, as well as utilizing the EAC's social media page for that purpose.
They have organized multiple community clean-up events, including Bristol Township's Earth Day 2025 event, partnering with Silver Lake Nature Center and Bucks County Parks & Recreation.
They were recently awarded the Bucks County Parent© (Family Focus Media, LLC) 2025 LOVE Award for Nature Educators.
The Bristol Township’s Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC) is a dedicated group of community members focused on promoting environmental stewardship, conservation, and sustainability within the Township.
The committee serves as an advisory body to the local government, providing insights and recommendations on environmental policies, leading green initiatives, and eco-friendly practices that help protect and preserve natural resources.

The Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Community Pride Award recognizes outstanding environmental stewardship by an individual, school, community, organization or civic group that makes an outstanding commitment to littler control, recycling, or general environmental stewardship.
The Community Pride Award is available to elected officials to recognize those in the community working to change behaviors at the local level.
