This in-person event will give agroforesters, forest landowners, new and beginning farmers, and conservation professionals insight into the state of agroforestry, products and marketing approaches, and case studies from practitioners.
The conference will be held June 4–5, 2026, at the Special Events Building, Ag Progress Days site in Pennsylvania Furnace, Huntingdon County.
The two-day event will have a variety of programs, with a mixture of presentations, panels, tours, workshops, and networking opportunities, designed to build connections across the agroforestry networks and build on knowledge to expand accessibility, productivity, and sustainability.
Conference speakers will include industry professionals and fellow producers who will cover topics from finding funding and scaling up to farm planning and in-field successes and failures.
Key highlights of the agenda include:
-- Tours: A variety of tours will be available. Participants will be able to sign up for a tour including field visits to forest farming and multifunctional buffers, or workshops on value-added product opportunities and farm planning.
-- Panel Discussion: Two curated panel discussions with invited practitioners and industry professionals will be held to focus on forest farming and multifunctional buffers in the Mid-Atlantic.
-- Resources: Guidance on current grants will be discussed, including the status of state and federal opportunities.
With limited space, pre-registration will be required. Registration will open in early 2026.
