DEP Invites Comments On Total Maximum Daily Load Plan For Baken Creek Watershed, Perry County

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the August 22 PA Bulletin inviting comments on a proposed Total Maximum Daily Load Plan for the Baken Creek Watershed in Perry County.   (

The Pennsylvania Integrated Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment Report indicated that stream segments in this watershed were impaired for Aquatic Life Use due to excessive siltation.

Comments are due September 21-- 30 days from this notice.
