DEP Invites Comments On Chapter 105 Permit For A 250 MW Solar Energy Facility In Clearfield County

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the August 22 PA Bulletin inviting comments on a Chapter 105 permit for the 2,500 acres, 250 MW Moonlight Flats Solar, LLC  solar energy facility in Covington and Karthaus Townships, Clearfield County. (
PA Bulletin, page 5602)

The project will be located largely on reclaimed coal mines.

No hearing is scheduled, but one may be requested.

Comments are due September 21-- 30 days from this notice.
