Pike Conservation District Highlights GIS, Environmental Ed Grants, On-Lot Septic System Workshop

The Pike County Conservation District's recent newsletter highlighted important district activities--
-- Summer Intern Anton Adams provides an overview of how Geographic Information Systems are useful in land use planning and environmental management.
-- Environmental Education Grants awarded by the District benefits students at Delaware Valley Elementary School for a hydroponics system for striating maple seedlings and Wallenpaupack Area School 8th grade class bat house project.
