The PA Resources Council is partnering with Allegheny CleanWays to again host the 5th Annual Pittsburgh Wild & Scenic Film Festival presented by SYRCL (South Yuba River Citizens League) in Pittsburgh on June 1 at the PNC Theatre At Pittsburgh Playhouse.
Join the Festival starting at 6:00 p.m. to interact with regional nonprofit organizations, learning about issues relating to litter, river health, air quality, and more. Sign up with these organizations as a volunteer to actively support their initiatives and keep Southwestern PA healthy, lively, and beautiful!
Films will begin screening at 7pm and will feature locally made short films that highlight environmental issues in our region along with national films that combine inspirational and beautiful film making with pressing environmental issues to inspire action across the nation to protect the environment.
From coast to coast, citizens are inspired to get outdoors and explore the environment around them and positively impact their communities and the environment in which they live.
You can continue the festivities next door to the Playhouse at Forbes Tavern at the Wild & Scenic Film Festival After Party from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m.
Sample Straub Brewery’s best beers and enjoy tasty bites while you chat with local film makers and nonprofit organizations about their work! With your After Party ticket, you’ll be entered into a drawing for fun prizes!
