The Villanova University Biennial Stormwater Management Symposium organizing committee is now accepting proposals for presentations for the Symposium to be held October 16 and 17 with the theme Building Resilience into Stormwater.
Abstracts are due before July 15 and should be no longer than 200 words. Click Here for more information and to submit proposals.
The purpose of the symposium is to advance the knowledge and understanding of sustainable stormwater management for those dealing in all aspects of planning, design, construction, maintenance and operations, and regulatory compliance. A workshop for municipal officials will be held preceding the symposium.
The Symposium will bring together engineers, planners, water resource professionals, regional, state and local government representatives, land development professionals, architects, watershed and conservation groups, manufacturers and the academic community.
The Symposium will also celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the Villanova Urban Stormwater Partnership Stormwater Control Measure National Monitoring Program.
The main track of the Symposium as well as the Workshop will be webcast live.
Municipal Workshop
On October 15 there will be a special municipal workshop on Managing Stormwater By Engaging Private Landowners - Success Stories and Strategies put on by a partnership with the PA Environmental Council and the PA State Association of Township Supervisors.
