-- DEP published notice in the April 4 PA Bulletin announcing it has received an application and is inviting initial comments on modifications to the Title V Air Quality permit for the Armstrong Power, LLC natural gas power plant in South Bend Township, Armstrong County. -- The Susquehanna River Basin Commission published notice in the April 4 PA Bulletin announcing an April 23 hearing on water withdrawal permits, including a change to the Three Mile Island Nuclear Data Center Power Plant in Dauphin Countyand shale gas withdrawals. Read more here.
Constellation Energy is requesting a renewal and modification of a water withdrawal for the Three Mile Island Nuclear Plant with a maximum of 73.2 million gallons per day, with a consumptive use of 21 million gallons a day from the Susquehanna River.
Constellation is also requesting a groundwater withdrawal of up to 0.072 million gallons a day from Well A, 0.054 MGD from Well B and 0.045 MGD from Well C.

-- BKV Operating, LLC (Susquehanna River), Washington Township, Wyoming County, PA. Application for renewal with modification of surface water withdrawal of up to 5.000 mgd (peak day) (Docket No. 20240603).
-- DEP published notice in the April 4 PA Bulletin inviting comments on a Chapter 105 permit by Carbon Node East Development, LLC for a multiple electric transmission line, utility line and fiber optic cable crossing of Dennison Run (Exceptional Value) located in Nesquehoning Boro, Carbon County. -- DEP published notice in the April 4 PA Bulletin announcing it has issued a major permit modification to the Liberty Soils LLC Biosolids Management Facility increasing the daily tonnage, but not the monthly average amount of biosolids the facility can accept in Reilly Township, Schuylkill County. -- PPL Electric Utilities - Stronghold 69kV Transmission Line Project: DEP invites comments on an Individual Stormwater Permit for a 23 acre project impacting Nesquehoning Creek and Broad Run (Exceptional Value) located in Nesquehoning Boro, Carbon County. (PA Bulletin, page 1866)
-- Horsehead Corporation - Residual Waste Landfill Closure: DEP notice a major permit modification for closure of this landfill was withdrawn. Befesa Zinc US Inc. is scheduled to submit another application by June 4, 2026. Landfill located in Potter Twp., Beaver County at Shell Petrochemical Plant. (PA Bulletin, page 1870)
