The following notices were published in the May 10 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities.  Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

-- PA General Energy Company, LLC - 7 Mile 16-Inch Water Pipeline: DEP issued a Chapter 105 permit for the pipeline between the 726 Pad A and Fox Pad B shale gas well pads impacting Pine Run (High Quality), Rush Run (High Quality), Mill Creek (High Quality), Lauren Run (Exceptional Value), Big Run (Exceptional Value) and wetlands at multiple sites located in Plunketts Creek, Mill Creek, Wolf and Shrewsbury Townships, Lycoming County. -- EQT ARO LLC - H.Lyle Landon Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Cogan House Twp., Lycoming County. (PA Bulletin, page 3304)

-- CNX Gas Company, LLC - PF Eisaman South Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater (aluminum, barium, boron, iron, lithium, manganese, selenium, strontium, vanadium, zinc, and chloride) to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Hempfield Twp., Westmoreland County. -- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC - Elwell Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated by production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Wilmot Twp., Bradford County. (PA Bulletin, page 3306)

-- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC - Ronmary SUL Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Elkland Twp., Sullivan County. (PA Bulletin, page 3306)

-- Coterra Energy, Inc. - J.Blaisure Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Jessup Twp., Susquehanna County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3306)

-- Monroe Energy LLC - Trainer Refinery East West Pipe Rack Process Sewer Release: DEP approved a Final Report on the remediation of soil contaminated with organics to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the facility located in Trainer Borough, Delaware County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3307)

2025 Act 2 Oil & Gas Facility Pollution Cleanups

So far in 2025, DEP received or acted on 65 Act 2 Land Recycling notices related to oil and gas facility site cleanups.

Waste Permits - Revoked/Issued

-- EQT Production Company - Hoosker Doo Wastewater Tank Pad Facility: DEP is revoking a Waste General Permit 123 and returning a $476,703 bond because the facility was never constructed in Aleppo Twp., Greene County.  Received Sept. 13, 2023, Revoked April 23.   (PA Bulletin, page 3307)

-- EQM Gathering OPCO, LLC - Perch Wastewater Storage Facility: DEP is revoking a Waste General Permit 123 and returning $4,695,333 in bond because the facility was never constructed in Aleppo Twp., Greene County. Received Feb. 4, Revoked April 17.   (PA Bulletin, page 3307)

--EQT Production Company- Sarah Well Site Aboveground Wastewater Storage Tank: DEP approved a Waste General Permit 123 for a 941,048 water storage tank at the facility located in Union Twp., Washington County. Received July 9, 2024, Issued April 14. (PA Bulletin, page 3308)
