Penn State University To Host Online Solar Law Symposium Aug. 21

The
Penn State Extension, Penn State’s Center for Energy Law and Policy, and the Penn State Center for Agricultural and Shale Law will host an online Solar Law Symposium on August 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Tailored for those with beginning and intermediate levels of solar law knowledge, this year’s event will explore timely topics including large-scale solar development, PJM’s role in utility-scale solar and the wholesale electricity market, solar leasing, local ordinances, stormwater impacts, tax implications, and property values—plus, for the first time, an ethics session based on participant feedback.
