Green Building Alliance and the 2030 District Program host a December 10 webinar on PJM Electricity Price Increases - Why and What To Do? from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

In July, the PJM Interconnection auction for wholesale electricity generation capacity to be delivered in 2025-26 resulted in a 933% increase in electricity costs over 2024-25.  Read more here.

Join the Green Building Alliance for an important conversation and presentation on the recent PJM electric grid capacity auction price increase, which will affect electricity costs throughout Western Pennsylvania.

Featured speakers include--

-- Terry Barchanowicz, Vice President of Chrislynn Energy: Terry will provide background as to why this particular auction price increased so drastically, what it means for electricity prices in 2025/2026, and how to manage rising costs through reducing electricity demand and its associated charges.   

-- Karma Edwards, Senior Director of Workforce Development and Green & Healthy Schools Program, Green Building Alliance: Karma will go over the best strategies for managing and reducing electricity usage - something that will be increasingly important and will have better returns on investment from higher electricity prices.
